These terms govern your use of the EV Charger Specialist website and referral service ("we", "us", "our"). By submitting an enquiry or using the site, you agree to these terms.
1. Our service
EV Charger Specialist is a referral service. We connect Australian homeowners with independent, licensed local electricians who carry out home EV charger installations. We do not perform electrical work ourselves and we are not the contracted installer for any job arranged via our service.
2. Quotes and pricing
Cost ranges shown on this site are estimates only. Final pricing is provided by the independent installer based on a site assessment. Once you accept a quote, your contract for the installation work is with that installer, not with EV Charger Specialist.
3. Installer responsibility
All electrical work must be performed by an electrician holding a current licence in your state or territory. You are responsible for checking your installer's licence before any work commences. We make reasonable efforts to vet the installers in our network but do not guarantee their work, conduct or availability.
4. Rebates and incentives
State rebate and incentive information is general in nature and changes frequently. We are not affiliated with any government rebate program. You are responsible for confirming current eligibility and applying directly with the relevant program.
5. Lead sharing
When you submit our quote form, your details are shared with one or more licensed installers in your area so they can prepare a quote. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, EV Charger Specialist is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the installer's work, advice or conduct, or from reliance on information on this website. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL.
