Complex jobs — long cable runs, switchboard upgrades or three-phase supply — can push the total higher, and charger hardware is quoted separately. You'll always get an upfront written quote before any work starts.
For most homes and cars, a 7kW single-phase wall charger is the sweet spot — it adds roughly 40 km of range per hour, which covers a full daily commute overnight. If you have three-phase power AND an EV that accepts more than 11kW AC, a 22kW charger can top up faster. We'll match the right unit for your car during your consultation.
Yes. A solar-aware charger (Zappi is the most popular, Ocular and Wallbox also support it) can divert your surplus solar straight into the car — free driving on sunny days. We'll make sure the charger integrates with your existing inverter.
No — the vast majority of Australian homes charge on single-phase 7kW and it comfortably covers typical daily driving. Three-phase 11kW or 22kW only pays off if your car supports it and you regularly need faster top-ups.
Most residential installs are done in 2–4 hours on the day. Larger jobs that need trenching, switchboard upgrades or three-phase supply can take longer — the quote will always spell out the scope.
