How we vet licensed, insured EV charger installers.

EV Charger Specialist is an Australian-owned referral service. We are not an electrical contractor and we do not carry out installations — we connect you with licensed, insured local installers, and all installations are carried out by independent, licensed electricians.

We started this business after seeing too many homeowners get burned by cowboy installers, vague quotes, and switchboard surprises. Before we refer an electrician, we check their current state electrical licence, ask for a certificate of currency for public liability insurance, and confirm they issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety for work installed to the AS/NZS 3000 wiring rules.

What we do

• Match you with a vetted, licensed and insured local EV charger installer.
• Check licence and insurance paperwork before an installer joins our network.
• Help you understand upfront written quotes and what's actually included.
• Point you to state rebates and incentives that may be available — eligibility varies by state and is never guaranteed.
• Provide guidance on charger selection (Tesla, Wallbox, Zappi, Ocular, Fronius and more).

What we don't do

We don't hold an electrical licence, we're not an accredited installer, and we never perform electrical work. Your installer quotes, invoices and certifies the job directly with you.
